The salary grade for the civilian government personnel for the year 2023 is based on Republic Act No. 11466 which is also known as the “Salary Standardization Law of 2019”.
Approved by former Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte into law on January 8, 2020, the law seeks to give civilian government employees, including public teachers and nurses their fifth round of salary increases.
SSL V Fourth Tranche table
The fourth and last tranche of the Salary Standardization Law of 2019 (SSL 2019) took effect on January 1, 2023, increasing the salaries of over 1.4 million government employees[1].

This year’s salary grade standardizes and streamlines the salary schedules and other benefits of the Philippine government employees to address the disparity in compensation between different branches of government.
