Award: $1,000

The ABC Humane Wildlife Women In STEM Academic Scholarship is intended to support women students who are pursuing a degree in biology, entomology, or a related field. This scholarship is designed to increase the number of women studying and influencing the future of science, including technology, engineering, and math.

Essay topic: (1,000 max) The subject line of your submission must include “Women in STEM Scholarship.” Why are you passionate about science, technology, engineering, or math, and how will your pursuit of these fields help preserve biodiversity, improve the health of our planet, or alleviate human suffering? You do not need to be a United States citizen to apply.

Ascent Summer of Giveaways Scholarships

Application deadline: July 3, 2023 (Enter EVERY WEEK this summer thru August 18)

Award: $1,000

The scholarship program is open to students from all majors, colleges, and technical skills training programs. The program runs for 50 weekdays during the summer, from June through August. The scholarship is available to students who are at least 18 years old and are legal residents of the United States.

Avnet Law National Scholarship

Application deadline: July 15, 2023

Award: $1,000

This scholarship is offered to support a community-minded college or graduate student who has demonstrated a history of community service and involvement.

Applicants must submit a 1,000-word max typed essay on the benefits of community service.

“Be Bold” No-Essay Scholarship

Application deadline: July 1, 2023

Award: $25,046

The “Be Bold” No-Essay Scholarship is funded by Bold.org that’s awarded to the applicant with the “boldest” profile. This scholarship has rolling monthly application deadlines. Students applying earlier will have a greater chance of winning. It’ll be awarded on December 1, 2023.

Brown Skin Agenda Aesthetics & Cosmetology Scholarship

Application deadline: July 15, 2023

Award: $10,000

Funded by Vitality Institute, this scholarship seeks to support students of color as they pursue certification and careers in cosmetology. Any BIPOC student who is pursuing a career as an esthetician or in the cosmetology industry may apply for this scholarship.

Career Search Scholarship

Award: $1,000

The Career Search Scholarship, funded by Realign, Inc., is a scholarship that supports high school seniors, undergraduate students, and graduate students who are exploring future careers. Student applicants should enroll in an accredited college or university in the United States. The winner will be announced on August 1, 2023.

Essay topic: (400–600 word essay) What potential careers are you currently exploring or planning to explore while in college? Why do you believe these potential careers will bring you fulfillment?

Elite Lawyer Scholarship

Award: $1,000

Applicants will be required to submit either a 500-word essay or a 2-minute video presentation in response to the following question: What positive change are you working to bring to your community this year?

Emergency Dentists USA Video Scholarship

Award: $1,000

The scholarship is available to high school seniors, undergraduate students, and graduate students who are currently enrolled in an accredited college or university in the United States. The scholarship is open to students of all majors and requires applicants to submit a video on a dental-related topic. Winners will be announced by August 1, 2023 central time.

Essay topic: 1-2-minute-long video about what superpower you would love to have and how you would use it to help create better dental health in all people! Award: $2,000

The GeneTex Scholarship Program is a scholarship for students pursuing a STEM undergraduate or graduate degree. The scholarship will be awarded to one student twice a year (open to international students)

GoodRx Helps Equity in Pharmacy Scholarship

Application deadline: July 7, 2023

Award: 10 applicants, $5,000 each

The scholarship is designed to provide financial assistance to future pharmacists and pharmacy technicians who identify as part of an underrepresented population in the pharmacy field. To be eligible for the scholarship, applicants must be current or recently graduated/certified pharmacy (PharmD) or pharmacy technician students with a minimum 3.0 GPA.

This scholarship helps aims to encourage diversity in medicine by supporting the career growth of Black healthcare professionals. GoodRx Helps is providing financial assistance to students and recent graduates from underrepresented groups in healthcare.

GoodRx Helps is providing financial assistance to nursing students and recent graduates from underrepresented groups in healthcare.

The 10 applicants with the most compelling ideas for addressing some of the biggest challenges in their profession and the broader healthcare landscape will be awarded $5,000 each.

The Kelly O. Memorial Nursing Scholarship is funded by Kate Smith and is available to senior high school, undergraduate, and graduate students who are currently enrolled in an accredited nursing program in the United States.

Kozakov Foundation Fellowship for Creatives

The fellowship is funded by the Kozakov Foundation, a nonprofit organization, that aims to support one student in their pursuit of an acting education in theater.

The Learner Education Women in Mathematics Scholarship is a merit-based scholarship that supports women pursuing a career in mathematics or related fields. The scholarship is open to female undergraduate students or graduating high school seniors who are studying math or related disciplines.

Linda Hicks Memorial Scholarship

Award: 1 winner, $1,000

Offered by Bold.org and funded by Calvin Hicks and Tanya Minor, this scholarship seeks to assist African American women who have been directly impacted or have a loved one that has experienced an abusive relationship and/or substance addiction.

Essay topic: (400–600 words) How have you personally been impacted by domestic violence and/or substance abuse? How do you plan to use your higher education to assist in improving the care, coordination, and communication that will ultimately change the outcomes for African American women impacted by this issue?

McDuffie Software Engineering Scholarship

Application deadline: July 15, 2023

Award: 2 winners, $1,000 each

This scholarship aims to encourage women to pursue four-year undergraduate degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related field and is interested in becoming a software engineer.

Essay: (400–600 words) Tell about yourself and how this scholarship will help you. What area of software engineering are you most excited to pursue post-grad?

MyMozaic Monthly Scholarship Contest

Application deadline: July 29, 2023

Award: $1,000

Applicants must be U.S. citizens or are lawfully living in the United States and at least 13 years of age on their entry date.

Rockefeller State Wildlife Scholarship

Application deadline: July 1, 2023

Award: $2,000–$3,000

The scholarship is intended to support students who are pursuing a degree in forestry, wildlife, or marine science at a Louisiana public college or university. The scholarship is available to high school seniors, undergraduate students, and graduate students who are residents of Louisiana and are pursuing a degree in one of the specified fields.

The scholarship is renewable for up to four years for undergraduate students and two years for graduate students, provided that the student maintains a minimum GPA and meets other eligibility requirements.

Savor Summer College Scholarship

Application deadline: July 1, 2023

Award: $500

To be eligible for this summer scholarship, student applicants should be U.S. citizens and have a GPA of 3.0 or higher. This is a non-renewable, one-time award of $500 to be used exclusively to offset costs and fees related directly to the student’s first year of higher post-secondary education at an accredited institution of the student’s choosing within the United States. The winner will be chosen and notified by July 31, 2023.

Award: $500–$5,000

Studybay.com lists various essay contests available for students to participate in. The contests are open to students who are currently enrolled in college in the United States.

The Youth Equine Service Scholarship is funded by Cathy Thacker. The scholarship is intended to support students who have a deep love for horses and enjoy volunteering for a cause.
