Overview: FEMA IS-60.B course was published on 9/20/2016. The Homeland Security Geospatial Concept-of-Operations (GeoCONOPS) is a mission blueprint that supports emergency managers, incident commanders and geospatial practitioners to identify points of collaboration, best practices, technical capabilities and authoritative data sources to improve the effectiveness of geospatial information and tools that support incident management.
The three courses are designed to provide users with information explaining the importance and relevance of the GeoCONOPS to the broader homeland security community to encourage engagement and participation in the continued enhancement and expansion of the content of the GeoCONOPS.
