Following the implementation of the Enhanced Table of Specification (TOS) for the subjects of the licensure exam for teachers, BEEd and BSEd graduates of the year 2021 onwards are the only ones advised to take the LEPT starting in 2023.
Those who were affected by the late implementation of the new curriculum are encouraged to take refresher course/s to bridge the gap in knowledge.
Overview of the Licensure Exam for Teachers
The Licensure Exam for Professional Teachers (LEPT) is a standardized test administered by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC). The exam is designed to assess the knowledge and skills of individuals who wish to become public school teachers in the Philippines.
The licensure exam is divided into two parts: the General Education (Gen Ed) exam and the Professional Education (Prof Ed) exam.

Elementary teacher examinees (BEED)
For aspiring elementary teachers, the licensure exam will consist of two parts:

Final thoughts
There’s a strict ranking of what kinds of study materials you should get to prepare for your eventual exam. Mock tests and practice exams are the most valuable. The review materials above are identical in style and form to the test that you will take.
Space out your study schedule, with only a slight increase right before the exam day. Try to practice each question five times from the time you first learned it, until your testing day.
